Frequent Cancellation Policy
Therapy Clients:
If you have a standing appointment time, frequent cancellations or rescheduling, even when done outside the required 48-business-hour notice window, can put that tanding time at risk. "Frequent" is defined as canceling or rescheduling more than 25% of your scheduled appointments over a given period, for any reason, unless the change is made at the conclusion of your current session (e.g., booking your next appointment in person).
If this pattern occurs, your therapist will discuss it with you directly. At that point, you will either:
Be charged a $100 administrative fee for each subsequent late cancellation, or
risk losing your standing appointment time.
Questions about this policy should be directed to your therapist.
For Psychiatric/Medication Management Patients:
Consistent attendance at medication management appointments is essential for safe and effective care. If you cancel three medication refill appointments in a row, or no-show three times, you may be dismissed from the practice and unable to continue obtaining medications through our office.
If you anticipate needing to reschedule, please contact our office as early as possible so we can help you stay on track with your care.
