The Good Deed Project Mission
The Good Deed Project focuses on community development with a mission to assist nonprofit organizations, families and individuals with limited resources, and those being displaced directly due to COVID-19, by providing home rehabilitation and other services to improve their living conditions and quality of life. Our vision is to measurably contribute to both the urgent and long-term needs and overall well-being of the most vulnerable in our community, with the intention of fostering thriving neighborhoods and brighter futures.
I understand and would like to join The Good Deed Project in furthering their mission as a volunteer.

Volunteer Commitment
As a volunteer-based organization, the work of our dedicated volunteers is what allows TGDP to accomplish both everyday tasks and large projects. Failure to follow through on commitments has a big impact on our organization and the people we serve. Canceling at the last minute or not showing up without a call affects TGDP's ability to complete our projects in the time assigned and/or to the extent they are intended to be completed, which also affects other volunteers.
I understand that as a volunteer I am an integral part of The Good Deed Project team and that my commitment to my responsibilities is to be taken seriously. I pledge to make every reasonable effort to show up when I sign up for a project, shift, and/or task.

Liability / Confidentiality / Expectations
LIABILITY WAIVER: I acknowledge that volunteering with The Good Deed Project may include work that has the potential to cause accidental harm or injury. I release the organization from all liability, costs and damages that could arise from participation in any and all events or activities associated with The Good Deed Project.
