More Details:
Thank you for your interest in a tattoo with me! I respond to forms within a few days with dates and times I have available, and once we decide on a time I will ask for a $40 deposit to be sent (refundable until 24 hours before appt or transferable if you need to reschedule, not refundable for custom drawn projects). My schedule is rolling since I have a full-time job I schedule tattoo appointments around, and spots sometimes open up throughout the month as I have time.
I have two cats and dog in my house, but I tattoo in a separate room from the dog and with an air purifier on. I have been using a good amount of biodegradable supplies from Good Judy, Workhorse Irons, Black Claw and Precision tattoo needles, and Solid ink, Dynamic, and Eternal ink brands. If you have questions or allergy concerns about products, please let me know. My space is on the second floor of a triple decker with a few steps to the front door, and there is street parking, bus, orange line T, and commuter rail accessible. I prefer a low scent space, and there is sometimes moderate noise from traffic outside. I will reschedule appointments on days over 90 degrees since the a/c doesn't do a great job cooling the room I tattoo in on those days.
If you are interested in a custom design, keep in mind I will not copy art unless it is yours or permission is granted by the artist. I am a good fit for your custom project if the art reflects my style (ie: imperfect lines, doodly, plant/critter, text, etc.) Don't hesitate to ask about a project if you aren't sure.
Sliding scale for payment is $55-75/hour, and for reference, most of the work on my instagram takes about 1-2 hours, with a larger/more detailed piece taking up to 3 on occasion. Using more color ink adds more time. I am open to multiple sessions if we reach the max of pain tolerance without finishing the piece! I will always give you an estimate for the time/cost of the project if you ask, or alternative ideas to fit a different budget.
If your project doesn't feel like a good fit for me, I am happy to recommend other local artists who may be a better match!
