Thank you for your enquiry for a place at Hay Children's Services. Please complete the following application form and submit. Please note, the lodgment of this application form does not guarantee acceptance of your child's enrolment at Hay Children's Services Inc.

Once an offer has been made and accepted, the full enrolment process will commence.

Please Note: Many of our Services have extensive waitlists. Wait times for an offer can vary from 1 week to up to 2 years. Wait times are dependant on selected Service, enrolment numbers and Priority of Access Guidelines. We encourage families to remain flexible.

NOTE: Hay Preschool & Hillston Mobile – Minimum 2 day enrolment. 3rd days at Hay are only offered if available and are not guaranteed annually.

Priority of Access Guidelines: HCS follow the priority of access guidelines when filling vacancies across our services. These guidelines must be used to allocate childcare places where there are more families requiring care than places available. There may also be priority guidelines within our funding streams for children of certain ages.
- Priority 1 – a child at risk of serious abuse or neglect.
- Priority 2 – a child of a single parent who satisfies, or of parents who both satisfy, the work, training, study test.
- Priority 3 – any other child.

Which Service is right for my child?

HCS Hay Early Learning Centre – Provides Early Childhood Education and Care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Operating 8:00am-5:30pm weekdays at 344 Church Street Hay

HCS Hillston Billylids Early Learning Centre – Provides Early Childhood Education and Care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Operating 8:15am-5:00pm weekdays at 61 Burns St Hillston

HCS Hay Preschool – Provides Early Childhood Education and Care for children 3 years to 6 years. Operating 8:00am- 4:00 pm weekdays at 348 Church Street Hay. Extended Preschool Care program runs from 4.00pm-5.30pm daily, subject to approval and limited places available.

HCS Mobile Venue – Provides Early Education and Care for children aged 0-6 years with priority going to children ages 3+ in line with funding agreements. Visiting remote towns within 200 km radius of Hay.

Venues include Hay, Maude, Carrathool, Booligal, Coleambally, Goolgowi and Hillston.

Extended Mobile Care program (Hay only) runs from 4.00pm-5.30pm daily, subject to approval and limited places available.
