Levana Birth has an earthside birth pool available for births on a first come first serve basis. In order to maintain cleanliness we follow specific protocols outlined below. Please read over each paragraph.
BIRTH POOL RENTAL INFORMATION
- The birth pool is available for your birth 3 weeks before and 1 week after your EDD.
- The pool must be used with a form fitting disposable liner that will be provided when the birth pool is picked up. If the birth pool is used without a liner, the client will be financially responable for providing Levana Birth with the cost of a new birth pool.
- Levana Birth Midwifery, staff, any outside assistants, students, etc. are hereby released and held harmless from any and all responsibility or liability from both maternal and infant complications, including mortality and morbidity connected with the use of any of our birth pools that may occur before, during or after the birth.
- You are responsible for purchasing a new lead-free hose (drinking water safe) with enough length to easily reach between the shower or sink spigot and the bottom of the tub in the chosen tub location. You will need to do a trial run to see that the fittings are compatible with your fixtures. This will save lots of time and frustration on labor day! The tub will weigh a substantial amount when it is filled and occupied. Please make sure your subfloor/floor can support this extra weight.
- Clients with well water v/s city municipal water may need to have their water supply tested for problematic bacteria.
- The tub will need to be wiped down and cleaned per instructions before it is returned. If the birth pool is not cleaned upon return, you, the client are liable for a $25 cleaning fee.
- You agree to contribute towards the repair or replacement of the birth pool or accessories in the event of damage or non-returning of the pool or the inflating pump.
- The birth pool will be picked up at 37 weeks at the Levana Birth office 114 W Commercial St Broken Arrow, OK, and dropped off 1 week after the birth at the office as well. If the birth pool is not returned to the office after 1 week, there will be an additional $5 per day fee until returned.

FEES
The full birth pool fee of $150 (which includes the pool, pool liner, and air pump) is due with the submission of this contract. Fees can be paid in cash, check, invoice, or Venmo. Other methods can be discussed if needed. Checks made payable to Levana Birth Midwifery. Contracts can be scanned to Levanabirth@gmail.com.
There will be no refunds after signing and submitting this contract as the time you will need the birth pool will have already been blocked off preventing anyone else from renting it.
In the event that services are given before payment is received, you will be invoiced. If 14 days pass with non-payment, a notice will be sent along with a $10 admin fee with an additional 1.5% interest rate for each week of non-payment.
