Brown Girls Learn Scholarship Fund (BGLSF) Mission & Scholarship Details
    Mission
The Brown Girls Learn Scholarship Fund (BGLSF) is dedicated to empowering teenage mothers of African American, Hispanic, and Native descent who reside in economically disadvantaged communities. Our mission is to support them in achieving their educational aspirations and fostering both professional and personal growth.

    Purpose
BGLSF aims to identify high school seniors and first-year college students who are committed to creating a future of success on their own terms. We also recognize individuals pursuing non-traditional educational pathways through training or certificate programs, such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) programs and other career-related certifications.

    Scholarship Reward
This year, three students will be selected to receive an $800 scholarship to assist with financial expenses related to college, books, or training/certificate programs. The scholarship will be disbursed in two payments:

$400 at the beginning of the semester
