The following are the requirements for a National Rally / Event. These provide a guide for the sponsor of one and what participants should expect from such an event.

A National Rally / Event must be planned, sponsored, and conducted by one or more local club, Region, or Headquarters and held in conjunction with, or in the vicinity, of a well-known annual or periodic festival, event, celebration, or places of historic significance or natural beauty.

A National Rally / Event may be in support of a community or non-profit organization.

A National Rally / Event may focus or celebrate the history or lifestyle of Airstream travel and/or WBCCI.
- A National Rally / Event may be held in conjunction with National Caravans or Intra-Club rallies.

National Rallies / Events may be recurring or one-time events.
- National Rallies / Events must have space for at least 20 trailers/units and be open to all club members for registration at the same time. Online registration is required.

Sponsor(s) are encouraged to hold activities that engage families with children and members who are still working.

A National Rally / Event should be scheduled for a length appropriate to the activity.

The sponsor(s) of a new or reactivated event shall complete this application form at least SIX MONTHS in advance of the proposed start date. A copy will automatically be sent to the National Rallies / Events Committee where a committee member will review information and contact the sponsor to clarify any questions before submitting for approval, if required. The Committee Member will stay in contact with the Sponsor as to the status of the application.

Sponsors are encouraged to utilize accounts set up through WBCCI and collect electronic payments. For those accounts that are large and/or recurring a separate event account should be maintained.

The sponsor(s) assumes responsibility for financial obligations, if any obligations are incurred. Expenses may be paid directly by the participants to an entity outside the WBCCI (i.e. campgrounds, event organizer, city, county, etc.). The sponsor(s) may retain any surplus funds accruing from the rally and will be responsible for any financial losses that may accrue.

First time National Rallies / Events may be eligible for one-time seed money to assist and offset costs such as facility rental, entertainment, or other event fees.

Within 30 day of completion of the National Rally / Event, the sponsor(s) shall forward a written financial report, using the instructions in the National Rally / Event Financial Report form located on the WBCCI website, to the Committee Chairperson for record purposes and for providing a financial report to the International Board of Trustees.

Liability insurance coverage under the "blanket policy" of the International Club will apply to existing authorized events and to events as may be authorized by the Executive Committee or the International Board of Trustees. A Certificate of Insurance (COI) will be provided upon request.
