    FACILITY USE AGREEMENT for Music Recitals/Concerts

  • *rehearsal date and time MUST be confirmed with the Office Administrator prior to filling out

  • Recitals take place in the Sanctuary.

     

  • Our Yamaha C7 semi-concert grand piano and our Bedient Pipe Organ are professionally tuned regularly. If you require the piano or organ to be tuned before your recital/concert, this shall be at your own expense and you will be required to use the professional tuners that we have under contract. The piano will be moved by the Recital Monitor for your recital to the front of the hall'

     

  •  We are pleased to offer the use of our kitchen facility for receptions, but users are responsible for providing and preparing their own coffee, punch, or other refreshment items and for cleaning up the space after use.

     

  •  *note, all GKSoM student and faculty recitals must be recorded, so if you fall into one of those two categories your recital will be compulsory recorded

     

  • *payment required prior to event in order to receive access to the facilities. If payment is not made at time of form submission (highly recommended) you will not receive an access code until that payment is submitted and cleared. If payment is not made prior to event, you will not receive access to the building and will forfeit your event*

    Assignment. This agreement is non-assignable and non-transferable. Any attempt by either party to assign its obligations hereunder shall be void. Mutual Indemnification To the extent allowed by law, each party agrees that it will be responsible for its own acts and the results thereof. Each party therefore agrees that it will assume all risk and liability to itself, its agents or employees for any injury to persons or property resulting in any manner from the conduct of its own operations and the operations of its agents or employees under this agreement, and for any loss, cost, or damage caused thereby during the performance of this Agreement. Governing Law and Forum. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska. Any legal actions brought by either party hereunder shall be in the District Court of Lancaster County, Nebraska.

    Livestreaming and Recording: All recordings will be made available to you via. a cloud filesharing link. You will receive a video file that contains the raw video and audio files combined, as well as all raw audio files for you to edit on your own to your desire. If you request livestreaming through our professional livestreaming system, it must be done so through our pages, you may share the link to both the Facebook and YouTube pages to interested parties or post on your Facebook event page if you have one created. If you would like to stream directly to your own personal social media pages as well, we can send you an invitation within the 7 days to your event to Restream to add your own socials to steam to as well. "if you would like the video taken down from the Facebook and Youtube page following the event please specify in writing*

  • An SMOC Recital Monitor will be at the church to assist you on the day of your recital. They will help with facilities and finding a "green room" space. They will also help with setup and handle recording and livestreaming.

     

  • The signature on this Facility Use Agreement for Recitals/Concerts by an authorized representative of the User acknowledges receipt of the St. Mark's on the Campus Facility Use Policy and acceptance thereof.

    This agreement does not become effective or accepted until signed by ALL parties.
