Interested in learning British Sign Language (BSL)? We’ve got exciting news! You can take our BSL Level 1 course at no cost, including full, in-person lessons and all learning materials. The only additional expense is the assessment fee, should you wish to sit the three official Signature exams and earn your qualification.  

A 40 hour course delivered over 20 weeks. On successful completion of lessons and passing the assessments, you’ll receive a recognised BSL Level 1 qualification — a great enhancement to your CV and employment prospects.  

In return, we simply ask that you attend every lesson, and complete 40 hours of befriending volunteer work with CDA within a 12-month period — one volunteering hour per lesson hour.  That’s a meaningful exchange: learn a valuable new skill while giving back!
