ABOUT SNEAKVIEW
Thank you for your interest in Civic Theatre's SneakView program! SneakView welcomes social service organizations (501(c)(3) organizations) to the final dress rehearsal of each mainstage show and selected educational shows free of charge. Recreational associations, unassociated family members, or those who can afford to attend a performance do not meet the criteria required by SneakView sponsors. Each season, SneakView serves 3,000 people through these performances.
What is the process for reserving seats?
In late summer, invited groups receive scheduled performance dates for the season (October through July). Groups are able to submit reservation requests for up to 20 seats for each performance. Based on capacity and order of receipt, requests are approved or waitlisted.
Where is Civic and what happens at SneakView?
Civic Theatre is located in Carmel, Indiana, on the Center for the Performing Arts Campus. We host shows in the 500-seat Tarkington and 200-seat Studio Theater. Free parking and bus parking is available.
At the theater, seating is general admission with considerations for wheelchair accessibility and other special needs depending on availability. Special "parking" for walkers is available. Curtain is at 7pm, with the exception of 1pm for the Jr. Civic show in June. For most shows, there is an educational pre-show curtain speech with the production team 45 minutes before curtain. Because it is the final dress rehearsal, bar services are not available during SneakView.
The Application Process
Please answer the following questions to the best of your ability to apply to the SneakView program. A Civic representative will review your application as soon as possible depending on volume. We hope to see you at Civic soon!
