Thank you for your interest in the HRBT Expansion Project.

Tours are scheduled on specific days of the month that are the least disruptive to the project's activities. Guided tour opportunities are at the discretion of HRBT Expansion Project Staff and may be conducted virtually, on-site with PPE, as a marine tour, or within a vehicle as a windshield tour depending upon the group’s classification.

Please know, any individual that is selected for a marine or on-site tour could be subject to a security screening prior to the tour as this project is located on critical infrastructure.

If the group requesting the tour meets eligibility requirements the appropriate tour will be scheduled accordingly.

The VDOT-HRBT Expansion Project reserves the right at any time to adjust the terms for tours due to safety, inclement weather or unanticipated activities as it pertains to the scheduled construction tasks on the North/South Islands, Willoughby Spit or the Cape Charles and Chesapeake plant(s).
