The City of Wichita has selected the Kansas Nonprofit Chamber to receive $325,000 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding to help nonprofit organizations in our community recover from the Covid-19 pandemic. To be eligible for a grant your organization must be a registered nonprofit organization with 501c3 tax status, have had a revenue of $500,000 or less in your organization’s most recent 990, and clearly demonstrate the negative effect Covid-19 has had on your organization. A clear outline of how the funds will be used along with a clear timeline and budget is also required. Grant amounts will range from $2,500 to $5,000 and distributed via monthly reimbursements. Your organization must also have a clear plan to address diversity, equity, and inclusion and provide copies of your Anti-Discrimination Policy and your Ethics & Conflicts of Interest Policy.
Applications received by the last day of the month will be reviewed by our review panel and you will be notified via email of their decision. Applications will be accepted until all funding has been allocated.
