  • Focus Behavioral Grant Program is for helping families with autism diagnosis/evaluation and therapy sessions (including speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy and applied behavioral analysis therapy Please review the following information before filling out the application. Applications must be filled out correctly and completely when applying for a Focus Behavioral grant. Submissions can be sent via email or faxed to our office at 254-732-2263.     Who can apply? This grant is intended only for individuals on the autism spectrum who are minimally verbal or non-verbal.

    Once we determine how much we can give each year, we review the following items when considering the approval of a grant request:

    Completion of grant application - The application must be completed in its entirety. Partially completed applications will not be considered. Amount of grant request - Typical grants awarded range between $100 - $5,000. Household Income - While we have not set an income level cap, incomes below $100,000 per year are reviewed

    Type of treatment required - Our mission is to fund effective treatments, assessments, and services to treat autism spectrum disorders and cannot fund living expenses, travel, utilities, or clothing. Proof of cost for medical treatment, programs, or materials.

    Once approved for a grant, providers have twelve months to process the funds. Should the approved treatments from the original grant request be reimbursed by another funding source (i.e. - school district, insurance company, private donor, etc, the grant recipient agrees to reimburse Focus Behavioral Associates for such funds relative to the treatments provided.

    Please note that all grants awarded are paid directly to the vendor or service provider to pay for tuition, medical evaluation or testing, therapies, etc.
