  • THE GERALD "MOE" & MARINA MOSHER VOCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

  • Eligibility Requirements: The Gerald “Moe” & Marina Mosher Vocational Scholarship, established in 2016, is a $2,000 scholarship that will be awarded annually to a graduating senior from Key West High School who has been accepted into a post-secondary vocational or technical education program at an accredited institution. Mr. Stewart Appelrouth and Mr. Ed Swift have graciously offered this scholarship in honor of Gerald “Moe” and Marina Mosher who were very community minded.

  • List the names, addresses and telephone numbers of two individuals (not relatives) who may serve as references.  These people should know you and your academic record well.  A letter of recommendation is required from both persons.

  • On a separate sheet of paper, please state your contribution to the community, and your school, civic and religious activities, and why you wish to be considered for this scholarship.  Include your plans and goals for the future, and how you hope to achieve them.  (Maximum length of one page typed and double spaced.)

  • Please sign, date this application, and attach a certified copy of your high school transcript.  The scholarship grant check will be payable when the student forwards a copy of class registration to the Greater Key West Chamber of Commerce.  The Chamber of Commerce will provide a letter stating monies will be forthcoming.

    Please note that incomplete applications cannot be accepted.
