Thank you for joining Shasta Halloween's 1st annual Chili Cookoff.

Rules:
1-You are responsible for your cook station and will need to bring all of your own equipment and ingredients. Chili must be cooked in your designated tailgate area and prepared in a sanitary manner. No stoves or cooking equipment will be provided.
2-Only gas or propane devises may be used. There are no electrical outlets.
3-There will be a panel of judges. If you are interested in entering into peoples choice, you must cook enough chili for public samples. We recommend 3 gallons of chili in small tasting cups.
4-Chili must be made from scratch; cooking begins with raw meats, vegetables and spices. Beans and pre-made chili mixes are approved ingredients for this chili competition.
5-One pint (16 ounces) of chili is required to submit for judging.
6-If your ingredients contain MSG or if peanut oil/peanut products is used, please post a warning sign.
7-Contestants may decorate booths/tables/tailgate area.
8-There is a $50 non-refundable entry fee.
Please allow time to set up, prep, cook, and be ready by 2pm.
