STANDARDS
Gues EXPERIENCE + service is the most important thing. Your attitude & actions behind the bar are very important - always seen and always felt by other operators and everyone who walks through the door. *HIGH VIBES * ○ We all have challenges and things that are going on in our lives; it’s important that we Move through that stuff before we come in for our shift, get our energy right and have a positive attitude. Everything is no problem, there is always a solution! ○ We are always ready for someone to walk through the door and ALL customers are greeted with a HI and a BYE, no matter what! Learning + addressing the customer’s by their names is a big part of what makes our business [+community] stand out from just another store. Build relationships & havePOSITIVE conversations with people while they are at the bar. ○ Do not be sitting or on your phone when customers are inside or walking in.There is always something to do, whether it’s cleaning, washing blenders, wiping tables / counters, filling toppings, etc.
BE ON TIME and DRESS APPROPRIATE. This means 15 minutes early for YOUR shift. Especially in the morning, this will give you time to set your morning up powerfully and to go through the morning checklist. Arriving late to your shift will result in a conversation the first time and the second time you will be off bar for a week (unless a valid excuse). Remember, “Who are you being when nobody is watching?” All it takes is one customer waiting outside to affect us in a negative way!! For mid or night shifts, arriving 15 minutes early will allow you to help set your shift up powerfully. Restocking cups, teas, straws, etc. will help ensure we have a clean environment and better customer service. We get to show up either our branded clothing,“workout” gear, closed toe shoes and good hygiene.
NEW are considered a SMALL business but with the best intentions to grow and make a huge impact with the community. We will post on our business instagram story constantly throughout the day, follow new people, complete tea drops and set up fundraisers throughout the month. These are powerful ways to introduce people to our location, products and grow our daily consumptions. Join Our team
●PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AND RESULTS. VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT to make sure we are showing up “our best selves” we get to start with ourselves and making sure we are filling up our cups first We want to be known for our good spirits and it starts with what we choose to listen to/ be around. Personal results can vary, we just get to make sure we have or in the process of getting personal results we can use to teach customers about the products we sell at our shop and for home.
● HAVE FUN! Yes these standards are very important, but this is not a “typical” job. The community, products, goals, and opportunity this business allows us to have is incredible. We work together, we treat the club like we all own it, we communicate ideas, feelings, etc. and we all grow and be a better version of ourselves EVERYDAY! Please Read Carefully: It is your choice to either work hourly at Old Brooklyn Nutrition without becoming a Herbalife Distributor but you will be held to the same standards as all the operators “on bar”, distributors and so on will have priority over shifts unless proven they are showing up more powerful and positive on and off their shift.
