This award celebrates a welcoming, innovative club whose activities and achievements make a positive impact on gymnasts, coaches, and the wider community.
All nominations must be based on activity between 1 September 2025 and 31 August 2026.
We want to hear why your club deserves to be club of the year, with examples of any significant activities and success. These may include things like:
- promotes a positive culture and environment centred around wellbeing and protection, to ensure gymnastics is enjoyable, safe and open to everyone
- demonstrates the gymnastics values of inclusive, supportive and aspirational
- demonstrates good leadership and governance
- is committed to developing gymnasts and coaches through the pathway allowing them to thrive and enjoy rewarding experiences
- provides good customer service and communicates well with members
- finds innovative ways to develop, grow and improve the club, eg, using the club self-assessment tool, Child Wellbeing & Protection in Sport club tool, or investing in a new facility or equipment
- offering new programmes or events such as Rise Gymnastics, the leadership award or opening the sport to more people through club development or satellite
- has strong links with the wider community beyond membership via schools, local authority community groups etc, or through fundraising, media and marketing activities
