This has been temporarily discontinued.
We run a live event every week in which devs come together to play each other's games.
Basically, we hop in Discord and play each other's games:
We do this in coordination with:
r/Vrdev, r/Playmygame, r/Hobbygamedev, r/Twitchstream, r/Metaverse
So please ready a VR headset if you have one.
Rules:
1) We don't allow NFT/Web3 games
2) We can only test games we don't need to buy to test
3) If you submit a game, you must also play someone else's game and give them feedback.
We only have one time slot now each Wednesday but we plan to add more.
If the time in the next slide does not work for you, go the slide after it for more options.
We will email you the link to the Discord after this form is complete.
Go through to the end of the form anyway and submit it, in part 2 we have an option to get recordings from others playing your game.
There are a lot of people that come to these events so you will need to SPEAK UP and request we play your game.
On the day of the event, click on "Work" chat.
On the day of the event click the 💬 and paste an itch.io link on the right.
We recommend itch.io, but it's not mandatory.
Right after you submit, we have a brief setup tutorial.
Essentially, we redirect you from Part 1 to Part 2, but sometimes pop-up blockers prevent Part 2 from loading.
So, if you receive a notification from your browser saying "blocked pop-up," unblock it to proceed to the optional Part 2.
We will also email it to you just in case.
What if you could watch people play your game live?
While making connections with streamers?
r/playmygame is working with [P1] to enable you...
to get live video feedback on your games
while making connections with streamers.
Here is how it works:
1) You offer X number of games keys of the final published game to the stream team
2) One of the stream team members streams your game and offers their audience keys
