Center Policy

Thank you for choosing Kumon. Please carefully read and submit the Center Policy. 

 TUITION PAYMENT

The monthly tuition per student is: 

• $ 190 for math or reading; and
• $ 375 for math and reading

The initial payment includes the tuition and one-time fees for registration ($80) and materials ($30). Payments are due in advance on the 25th of every month via automatic draft from a checking account (ACH) or credit or debit card. ACH is the preferred method of payment. There is a $5 charge for the use of a credit or debit card. A late fee of $25 is applied when tuition is received after the 1st of the month.  There are no refunds.

If a Credit or Debit Card has been selected as your method of payment, an invoice from Better Learners, LLC (Kumon of Pooler) or Academic Allies Unlimited, LLC (Kumon of Savannah-Picadilly Square) will be emailed shortly. Your card payment information will be used as information for the recurring monthly charge.

I understand that this is an authorization for payment of Kumon tuition.  The authorization will remain in effect until I cancel with a 30-day advance written notice. If the payment is declined or returned, I understand that Kumon of Pooler will charge a $25 service fee.

Classes

• Attendance is recommended once or twice a week.
• 30 minutes for one subject and 60 minutes for both subjects
• No make-up classes; worksheets are available if a student is unable to attend.
• Daily home is assigned and must be complete on non-Center days; and
• Gum, food, or drinks are not allowed in the classroom. 

Checking in at the Center

The Kumon staff must be aware at all times of students entering and exiting the building. Parents will check their student in at every Center visit via a text messaing
Once the student has finished class, a text message will be sent to pickup the student.

Absences

Students can be absent for one full month during the year without paying for tuition. A 30-day advanced written notice is necessary and must be sent to janesecooper@ikumon.com. If an absence exceeds one month, the student is no longer considered enrolled at Kumon and will need to re-enroll. 

Subject Change

Students will not be able to switch from one subject to another unless Kumon study is two years or above grade level in the current subject enrolled.

Withdrawal

To discontinue Kumon services, a written notice must be submitted on the 1st of the month prior to the month that you wish to stop services to janesecooper@ikumon.com to avoid tuition and additional charges. 

Re-enrollment

After a 30-day absence, students are considered discontinued and the current tuition rate, registration and materials fees will apply if you wish to re-enroll. A re-assessment will need to be scheduled prior to enrollment.

Kumon Media Release Form

Dear Kumon Parent/Guardian (you may refer to you in the document as “You” or “Your”):

This General Media Release Form allows Kumon North America, Inc. ("we" or “Kumon”) to use or distribute your child(ren)’s photos, name, testimonial, student profile, quote, progress report, completed worksheets, video recording and/or likeness (the "Materials") for the stated purpose below.

You hereby irrevocably authorize Kumon to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, exploit or distribute the likeness of the Materials for the purpose listed below, or for publicizing Kumon programs commercially or otherwise, training Kumon Associates or Instructors or for any other lawful purpose. Kumon reserves the exclusive right to edit the Materials, to use them in whole or in part, or not use them at all. You waive the right to inspect or approve the Materials, including written or electronic, whether that use is known to You or unknown. You also grant Kumon, and those acting under its authority, all rights, title and interest, and copyright of the Materials. Furthermore, You agree to defend and hold harmless and release and forever and discharge Kumon from all claims, demands and causes of action, which You, Your heirs, representatives, executors, administrators or any other person acting on behalf or on behalf of Your estate have or may have by reason of this Media Release Form.

I affirm that I am the parent or guardian of the child(ren) listed below and have the legal authority to sign this Form. I have read the Media Release Form beforesigning below; have signed of my own free will without duress or coercion; and fully understand the contents, meaning and impact of this document.
