Cancellation / Rescheduling Policy:
It’s important to understand that when forgetting or cancelling appointments without giving enough notice, our stylists lose the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and other clients waiting for appointments miss out on receiving services. For the benefit and respect of all our clients and professionals, booking appointments with Kristen Roumanis are subject to the following terms:
You may cancel or modify your appointment without charge anytime 48 hours or more preceding the start time of your appointment.
Less than 48 hours notice will result in a 50% charge of the service(s) scheduled & less than 24 hrs notice is considered to be a "last minute cancelation" and will be considered a "no show" and will result in 100% charge of service(s) scheduled.
To avoid a cancellation fee of 100%, you must cancel you appointment more than 24 hours from your scheduled appointment time and to avoid a cancellation fee of 50%, you must cancel your appointment more than 48 hours from your scheduled appointment.
You must pay any cancellation or late fees before rescheduling and booking any future appointments with Kristen Roumanis.
If you do not cancel your appointment or do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be considered a “No Show” and charged the full price of the scheduled service(s).
You must pay No Show Fees before rescheduling and booking any future appointments with Kristen Roumanis. A 50-100% non-refundable deposit will be required and due at time of scheduling for all future appointments scheduled after a No Show.
Appointments that are booked within the 24-48 hour period are still subject to the cancellation policy.
As a courtesy, appointment reminder messages are sent 72 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment by SMS to the contact information given on this form. Failing to respond to these messages or not confirming your appointment does not count as cancelling your appointment. Kristen Roumanis is not held responsible if you do not see or recieve an appointment reminder text. It is yours, the client's, responsibility to remember your scheduled appointments and to reschedule or cancel them with 48 hrs or more notice.
Cancellation or Late fees do not go towards future services and are non-refundable.
A card is required on file for all clients to be able to schedule and reserve any appointment with Kristen Roumanis.
Your card on file will be used to charge you for any cancellation or late fees.
If your card on file declines and a fee is due, you will be sent an invoice. If the invoice is not paid in full within 24 hrs after being sent then you will not be allowed to schedule any services with Kristen Roumanis.
Late Policy:
To ensure a full experience, please arrive on time to your scheduled appointment time.
We have a 15 minute grace period for late arrivals where we may not have the ability to honor an appointment or all services scheduled and could ultimately result in needing to reschedule your appointment with a "no show" fee.
Late arrivals will be charged the full price of the scheduled service(s) even if there is not enough time to render them.
Refund Policy:
No refunds on any services or deposits.
(this includes and is not limited to: any cut service, any color or lightening service, any keratin or Brazilian Blowout treatment, any deep conditioning masques, deposits, etc).
No refunds or exchanges for any products purchased or deposits.
(this includes and is not limited to: Kevin Murphy, Color Wow, K18, Wella, Brazilian Blowout and Halo Couture Extensions, deposits, etc).
Due to the time and materials that go into your custom service, Kristen Roumanis does not offer refunds for any services, products or deposits purchased. However, we are more than happy to make adjustments to technical service errors.
Examples of errors are: bleed marks, toner spots, uneven cut.
If you feel that there was a technical error with your service, please reach out to us within 72 hours of your appointment and we will happily get you in to make the needed adjustments.
Any adjustment requests after 72 hours will not be accommodated due to normal daily wear and tear that results in normal color fading and changes. (Your hair color is constantly changing and fading as it is constantly exposed to UV rays, hot tools, sweat, humidity, washing/rinsing hair in the shower, chlorine, salt air and water, hard minerals, hair products, etc.)
Any adjustment would need to be scheduled no later than 14 days after notifying the studio.
As a small business, I keep limited retail on hand and take pride in carrying only very selective luxurious professional products that perform well, use higher concentrations of the highest quality ingredients, backed by the latest and greatest science and technology, that not only do amazing things for our hair but also our environment.
I uphold the same policies as my manufactures have in place with me. All of the brands, distrubtors and manufacturers I work with do not allow any refunds. Exchanges are restricted to limited brands and are only permitted on unopen and unused product purchases that have a manufacturer error (ex: broken nozzle).
Hair Extensions Policy:
An in-person or virtual consultation is required for every new extension client.
Extension consultations are $50 and are non-refundable. Extension consultation appointments follow the same cacellation and late policies as any other services scheduled with Kristen Roumanis.
Your payment for a virtual extension consultation will be due upon booking to reserve your appointment. A credit card on file will be required when booking an in-person extension consultation and Kristen's studio late and cancellation policies apply to all extension consultation appointments.
If you place an order for a new HALOCOUTURE Extension at the end of our consultation, your $50 extension consultation will be waived.
All extension orders and deposits done with Kristen Roumanis or HALOCOUTURE are final sale and non-refundable and no exchanges are allowed.
All extension orders recieve a complimentary Halo Fitting appointment after your new HALOCOUTURE Extension arrives.
The extension consultation will go over everything you need to know about a HALOCOUTURE Extension from how to wear it, style it, care for it, wash it, and where to access tutorial videos for future reference as well as try on various Halo lengths and density options and color match you.
Halo Fitting appointments include unboxing your new HALOCOUTURE Extension together, practice installing it together to ensure you feel confident putting it in on your own, go over additional care and styling questions then finish it with me installing your Halo and hot tool styling your hair/Halo for you.
* You must come to Halo Fitting appointment with clean, dry hair. Wash and blowdry your hair the night before or morning of your Halo Fitting appointment and please avoid excessive products and oils. Your Halo Fitting appointment does not include a shampoo + blowout unless you schedule it as an additional service and pay for additional costs.
Certain sunscreens and non-professional products damage/ruin hair extensions and cause discoloration that is usually not reversible. It is up to each client to maintain their hair and be aware of how to do so properly. Kristen Roumanis is not responsible for any changes, wear and tear or damages to your extensions and Kristen Roumanis will not cover cost for damaged hair.
Custom coloring of your Halo is available to create an even more seamless color blend and match. Custom coloring of your Halo will entail additional charges.
Kristen Roumanis is not held liable for any changes that happen during or after the coloring process. The same color policies apply to coloring HaloCouture extensions including and not limited to service adjustments and refunds.
Studio Policy:
Please attend all appointments alone without kids, friends or plus ones. Additional people outside of the client being serviced are not allowed in the work service area for safety reasons. I am currently working in a small studio with limited space and dangerous hot tools, sharp scissors and tools, and chemicals that can be harmful if accidentally gets in eyes, skin, or ingested. Kristen Roumanis is not held liable or responsible for any accidents, injuries or reactions that take place in her studio.
Please keep in mind that you are receiving a cusom color service and that alone combined with various internal and external contributing factors means that your hair color results will never look exactly like your inspiration / color goal pictures that you submit during your consultation. All inpsiration / color goal pictures are to give us ideas of what we like and what we would like to try to translate onto your unique hair canvas.

All text messages recieved before 7pm will be responded to by end of day. All other messages recieved after 7pm will be responded to the next day. | please add in your message if you prefer to not be texted before / after certain hours. I do work late nights and am not able to see / respond to messages until late at night & I am naturally an early riser and typically try to respond all texts as soon as I see them as to not forget to reply later.
