  • SHOP and SIP Night Market, Rooftop of Hotel Steyne, Manly

Next Shop and Sip date TBA

Shop and Sip is a collaboration between the Pop Up Collective and the Hotel Steyne Activations Team, offering small business owners the opportunity to showcase their brand on the covered Steyne rooftop. This is a unique event for Sydney, set against an ocean backdrop and complete with live music, good food and drinks.

Stall holders and visitors alike all comment on what a beautiful vibe there is, and how gorgeous the location is.

Be part of something fun and innovative - an indoor night market featuring some of the best local fashion, accessories and gifts brands - happening at Manly's iconic beachfront pub.

If you've heard about the legendary Singapore Boutique Fairs events, Shop and Sip is a similar concept, and I've been so chuffed to be told by people who know "Boutiques" that it reminds them of the Fairs.

It's the perfect girls night out, although everyone is welcome (not just girls of course!).

We work with Hotel Steyne to market Shop and Sip. The Steyne has a social media reach of about 20,000 people plus a large email database. Press releases are sent to local media including Concrete Playground, Broadsheet, Manly Daily and Manly Observer. We work with Manly Business Chamber and Experience Manly to push through their channels as well. Internal marketing includes screens and posters on every bar and throughout the venue, bathroom posters, menus and flyers in the adjacent bottle shop to engage with customers on as many touch points as we can. We run sponsored posts in local FB groups which have had significant engagement.

We trust that all stall holders will do their bit to market the event to their audiences as well.

Preference will be given to stall holders who offer ethical fashion for women, men or kids, fashion accessories & bags, homewares, beauty and gifts. If you have a uniquely Northern Beaches product then this event will be perfect for you too.

I always stress that when booking your spot there are no guarantees in retail, and often no rhyme or reason to why one event may be more successful than another, or why one stall is successful on one date and another isn't. Retail is getting tougher and tougher for small biz retailers but nothing ventured nothing gained! The weather, cost of living and a myriad of other factors out of our control can mean one month is a roaring success, and the next month is quieter. However Shop an Sip is an exciting opportunity for the right vendors who see the potential. The location is non-weather dependant which is a big bonus too when you look at all the outdoor market cancellations caused by our crazy weather events.

Please complete the form below to secure your spot(s). Please send through product photos, as well as insurance certificate to info@popupcollectiveaustralia.com.au to support your stall application. For previous stall holders, no need to resend.

Note: Shop and Sip is a night market. Some areas of the stunning location are fairly dark, which adds to the ambience but maybe not ideal if you have intricate product details to showcase. Please bring portable spot lights for your creations if this is of a concern to you.

    Thank you

    Judith
