ELIGIBILITY
An individual, group, or organization that has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to collaboration and impact in the effort to end sex trafficking in the United States is eligible for this award.
Examples of eligible candidates include engaged citizens, volunteers, organizations, community groups, appointed and elected officials, task forces, alliances, and collaborations. Self-nominations will be considered.
CONSIDERATIONS FOR THE AWARD
We look for the following attributes when reviewing nominations for the Stronger Together Award:
- Demonstrates a history of advancing efforts to end sex trafficking in local or national communities. This work may include (but is not limited to) sectors such as education, direct service, research, policymaking and legislation, community mobilization, activism, and philanthropy.
- Has a reputation for being a collaborative partner that others can rely on.
- Integrates continuous improvement and works toward collective impact.
- Champions of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in their efforts.
- Utilizes dignifying and strengths-based language to describe other stakeholders, including survivors of human trafficking.
