Class Proposal Form for QNE 2023

CLASS PROPOSAL FORM

You are invited to submit a class proposal as a teacher/lecturer at QuiltNebraska to be held at the Younes Conference Center in Kearney, Nebraska, July 21 to July 23, 2023.

Teacher compensation is as follows:
Half-day - 3 hours (9 a.m. to noon) or (1:30 to 4:30 p.m.) - $300.00
Full day – 6 hours (same as above) - $600.00

All those interested in a teaching position MUST submit a proposal, no exceptions.
Expenses are not reimbursed.
Classes with 7 or fewer students enrolled will be subject to cancellation with no fees paid.

Select from the following abbreviations (SM, RCM and BSS) of tools required for those taking your class (This list will be found at the bottom of each page of the “Classes in Detail” registration book)

Supply list abbreviations and notes: All classrooms will have two irons and ironing boards. SM = Sewing Machine with manual, extra machine needles, extension cord, power strip. RCM = Rotary cutter, cutting mat and quilter’s ruler. BSS = Basic Sewing Supplies and includes: fabric scissors, paper scissors, pins, seam ripper, thread, needles, thimble, pencil and paper.

Fabrics: (Note that in some classes a portion of the project is made in class and the rest is finished later. If this is the case for your class, please indicate which fabrics they will need during the class and which would likely be used to finish the project later.
