FESTIVAL AVAILABILITY

Volunteer roles generally run on 2 x 4 hour shifts across the weekend (and gets you your ticket for the rest of the time, as well as hospitality on days of shift)

Note: You must choose at least one PM slot.

All volunteers are required to give one hour on Monday morning at 10AM to help with clean up

 

Prefered shifts? 

VOLUNTEER TERMS AND CONDITIONS  

1. As a volunteer with Night and Day you are required to uphold all festival policies including equal rights, discouraging discrimination and promoting inclusivity in all aspects of the events.
2. As a volunteer you will comply with festival policy regarding Child Protection, Health & Safety and public conduct.
3. All volunteers are reminded at this stage that your role is to help us run the Night and Day Festival. We appreciate that there may be specific attractions you want to see over the festival weekend and will take this into consideration when scheduling shifts. We cannot guarantee that your requests will be met, but we will try!
4. If you are accepted as a volunteer you will receive an acceptance notification once your form has been processed.
5. You will receive further information about training, shift times and details of how to get to the festival site nearer to the festival date.
6. You have responsibility for arranging your own transport to and from the site. Please see the website for more details on how to get to the festival.
7. I agree to turn up to my rostered shifts on time, and to advise Festival staff well in advance if my availability for rostered shifts changes. 
8. I agree to work under the guidance and supervision of Festival staff.
9. I agree to turn up to my first rostered shift 30 minutes before the scheduled so as to be informed of particulars of the role and the venue.
10. I will not turn up to a rostered shift under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
11. I agree to advise Festival staff if I am unable or uncomfortable to complete tasks that have been assigned to me.
12. I agree to inform my supervisor immediately of any injuries sustained while undertaking volunteering activities.
13. As a member of the Night and Day Festival team, I will do my best to provide correct information and a positive attitude to all members of the public I deal with throughout the festival.
14. I agree to work in a constructive and cooperative way with festival staff and comply with any safety procedures as requested.
15. I understand that if I am unable to complete my allocated shifts, I may be asked to return my wristband.
16. I understand that I am volunteering my services to the Night and Day Festival and will not receive any remuneration for my services.
