General Policies
Children in in preschool through 5th grade must be dropped off/signed in and picked up/signed out. If you have special circumstances for drop off/pick up please contact Skyler at sturek1@st-thomas-aquinas.com or 651-459-2131.
If someone is NOT ALLOWED to pick up your child, please contact Skyler right away.
If you child/children receive any homework. Please support their learning by encouraging them and going over their work.
If your child/children are ill, (100.4 degree temp., vomiting, or diarrhea), please let Skyler know and keep them home. If they have a cold or on medication for over 24 hours please have them wear a mask.
Classes will be cancelled due to weather or other emergencies when the South Washington County School District 833 cancels school or after-school activities. Skyler will try to contact the parents/guardians. A message will also be posted on FaceBook.
Children and youth are expected to behave in a respectful manner to adults and other children. If unacceptable behavior becomes persistent and troublesome, parents will be contacted to pick up their children. If a student is sent home a second time, a parent will be asked to attend with their child for the rest of the faith formation year.
There is a zero-tolerance policy for bullying/cyber bullying, as well as drugs, alcohol, tobacco or weapons being brought to the parish. Parents will be notified immediately and the student/s will no longer be allowed to attend on site classes for the remainder of the year. Online lessons will be available so student/s can continue learning.
If your child/children miss a lesson, online lessons will be sent to your email. All homework is required to be emailed or returned. School activities and/or other practices are not acceptable exceuses for missing class.
