  • We are here to serve Jewish Youth of all ages.  There are four (4) different groups to help create appropriate programming for every child.

    Matchilim

This group is for children in kindergarten through second grade.  Matchilim meets once a month, on a Sunday between 12-1:30pm. All programs are social with a twist of Jewish culture thrown in.  Matchilim is an introduction to what the next few years of Youth Group will be for your child.

    Pre Kadima

This group is for children in third grade through fifth grade. Pre Kadima meets twice a month, on a Tuesday and/or a Sunday. Tuesday meetings will be between 7-8:15 pm and Sunday meeting times vary. Activities range from silly to educational, always with an element of Jewish culture and lots of fun!

    Kadima

This group is for children in middle school-sixth grade through eighth grade. Kadima will meet two-three times a month, generally on Tuesdays between 7-8:30pm. Please look for information for schedule changes, as Kadima sometimes has joint programs with our USY group which will fall on a Wednesday.

    USY

This group is for teens in high school-ninth grade through twelfth grade. USY meets three-four times a month, generally on Wednesdays between 7-8:30pm. USY encourages leadership while cultivating Jewish values combined with fun!

  • Once you have completed this registration form, please make sure to submit your payment.  Registration is not finalized until payment is received.

You may go to the TBTST website (click here) to submit your payment via credit card. Please note all credit card payments have a 3% processing fee.

All checks should be made out to TBTST.

NOTE: Due to our membership dues being a major part of our youth budget, once your child registers on line, there is no refund on any youth membership. If you are a teen filling this form out, please discuss this with your parents prior to submitting your application.

  • Technology and Social Media Policy

  • We know that the Internet, when used wisely, provides many safe and positive ways to stay in touch with friends from USY. We view Internet venues as your right to self-expression and generally have a favorable regard for them. Once you identify yourself as a member of the Temple Beth Torah Sha’aray Tzedek (TBTST) community in a social networking profile, website, group page or weblog (“blog”), or use the TBTST name, logo or any official photograph or text, everything and anything that you post or say in that medium can then be seen as a reflection of TBTST. That is why we require you to observe the guidelines below. We established these guidelines to assure that TBTST remains an emotionally and physically safe environment for all staff, participants, and families.

As a participant of TBTST Sharks Youth Department, I agree to be respectful of TBTST and its programs, participants, and employees in all communications in my e-mails, IMs, social media profile, blog or other Internet sites. As such, I agree to the following:

    1. I will not share or post e-mails, blogs, images or Internet content that are cruel, demeaning, disrespectful or intentionally hurtful to TBTST or a member of the TBTST community.
    2. I will not post comments that are derogatory with regard to any individual’s race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability or any other group protected under applicable federal, state or local law.
    3. I will not engage in harassment or intimidation or posts that present TBTST programs, their members or their staff negatively.
    4. I will not share, send or post material of a sexual nature, or which includes nudity, violence, drug or alcohol use, illegal actions delinquent behavior, destruction of property, harassment or intimidation or any activity against the program rules.
    5. I will not post photographs that compromise anyone’s privacy or that are used to demean, humiliate or otherwise embarrass anyone.
