    USING A FALSE DATE OF BIRTH IN REGISTRATION CAN BE REASON FOR US TO CANCEL REGISTRATION OR DENY DIVISION CHANGE REQUEST. 

     

    LEAGUE-AGE - What determines what division each player goes into. Players can only play up to one league-age year.  

    SPRING SEASON LEAGUE-AGE is the age that player will be exactly on April 30 of that current year.  

    FALL SEASON LEAGUE-AGE is the age that player will be exactly on November 30 of that current year.  (see more Fall season info below)

     

    CHANGING DIVISIONS - Parents can request their child to move up one league-age year or move down one league-age year.  In the Spring season, Pony International Rules, as well as insurance liability issues, prevent us from allowing players to 'play down' in almost all cases.  Only extreme cases will be considered in spring, like disability or other things that put them at a big disadvantage.  In the Fall season we do have more flexibility and it's sometimes allowed if there is room in that division at the time of request.  See below for additional requirements.

  • MOVING DOWN ONE DIVISION

    Players are not eligible for all-stars in any season that they play in a lower division than their league-age group.  Players are not allowed to pitch if they are playing in a lower division than their league-age group.  Additional restrictions may apply.  

  • Almost all players of your childs league-age will be in a division higher than your child if he/she plays back.  

  • For the next spring season, your child will be required to play up to the next division regardless of division played this season.  

  • MOVING UP ONE DIVISION

    MPB does allow players to move up to the next level as long as they are within one league-age year of that level and as long as they meet other criteria. We may required the player to attend Mandatory Player Assessments in BOTH DIVISIONS. If we tell you this then you must do both or have the request denied or reversed.

    League-approval is required and player may have to assess two times.

  • Players are only eligible for all-stars in the age group of the division they played, and only as long as they are not too old for that age group.  For example, a league-age 8 year old playing up in the Mustang (10u) division will only be eligible for 9-10 year old all-stars and would be ineligible for 8u all-stars.  

  • RATE CHANGE MUST BE PAID WITHIN 24 HOURS of division change or registration may be canceled.  If canceled, any registration fees already paid will be refunded to your card.

    YOU MUST REGISTER YOUR CHILD INTO THE DIVISION THAT THE SYSTEM ALLOWS FOR HIM BEFORE WE CAN TRANSTER HIM/HER TO THE OTHER DIVISION.  If approved, we will transfer him to the requested division.  If not approved, and you don't want him to play with us in the requested division, simply find our 'Refund Policy & Request Form' on our website within the Refund Deadline and we will gladly provide a full refund.
