LAPH 2022 Policy & Health Equity Selections

The months of July through September include the “team designed” portion of the program curriculum, which is focused on public health policy and health equity. To best address your team’s unique learning needs, we have provided a broad collection of resources, materials, and tools. This is an opportunity to customize your learning to meet your team’s specific needs related to leadership learning and/or your AHLP.

Instructions:
1. Review both the policy and health equity resources, materials, and tools on the Policy & Helath Equity Module page.
2. Work with your coach and use data from the following sources to determine your selections and plan of action:
  - Team baseline results (from beginning of the year)
  - Big Picture Tool
  - Got Data? Tool
3. Select at least one option from each of the two topic areas in which your team will participate. Several of the options below can count as either a policy or health equity selection. Your team must choose a minimum of one selection per topic area.
Below, you may indicate the options your team has selected. For each selection, please also provide:
- the rationale for why the option was selected;
- the team member(s) responsible for the selection;
- and the date by which the selection will be completed.
As a reminder, all descriptions and links to the policy & health equity selctions can be found on the Policy & Helath Equity Module page of the program portal.
