Our names are Deborah Vassell and Tajia Niles. Two Black female entrepreneurs looking to showcase some of the best culture in the city. Our journey began inside Square One as a pop-up to introduce various small businesses to the world and now, we have come back bigger and better than ever. Our event will take place in the parking lot of Square One, from July 22nd - 24th, 2022. There will be outdoor fun for everyone. We will have food trucks, entertainment for kids, and vendors selling clothing, accessories, skincare and much more! We are also working with the Canadian Mental Health Association to engage with diverse families and youth within the city.
This outdoor summer market will be a chance for local Black-Owned brands to showcase their products and network with other like-minded business owners. It is also an opportunity for the people of Mississauga to reconnect with each other while having some fun.

Event details:
The target market for this event is men and women ages 25 - 45. As the event is in Square One, we expect most of the event attendees to be residents of Mississauga. As we are showcasing Black businesses, this will be a great opportunity for your business to connect with local Black artists, artisans and business owners. As Square One is the largest mall in Ontario, we expect a large turnout. This event is being advertised on social media, media outlets, as well as directly with Square One Shopping Centre.

We are looking for monetary and/or physical donations which may, but not be limited to: Gift cards, food items, children's books, toys, toiletries, brand samples, etc.
