The Triunfadores College Prep Program (CPP) strives to support K-12 students in school and through their journey to attend college. As a volunteer, you will be trained to tutor, mentor, and provide guidance to students so they may succeed academically and reach their goals.

Weekly Sessions

Location: 3403 NW 13th Street Gainesville, Florida 32609

Date/Time: Mondays, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

This is a semester-long, in-person commitment, meaning you will be volunteering throughout the entirety of the Spring 2023 semester. The first day of tutoring will be January 23, 2023 and we will meet weekly until April 24, 2023. Once volunteers are accepted, we will provide a more detailed calendar, with University of Florida and Alachua County Public School holidays listed as non-tutoring dates.

Commitment & Code of Conduct
I understand that being a volunteer with the Triunfadores College Prep Program is a weekly commitment that I will fulfill for the entirety of the Spring 2023 semester. I will not be late nor absent unless a valid excuse is given to the coordinator at least 24 hours in advance. This includes any required training sessions.*

Audio/Video Recording Consent Agreement

I hereby grant permission to Children Beyond Our Borders Inc., the rights of my image, in video or still, and of the likeness and sound of my voice as recorded on audio or video tape without payment or any other consideration. I understand that my image may be edited, copied, exhibited, published or distributed and waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my likeness appears. I also understand that this material may be used in diverse educational settings within an unrestricted geographic area. By signing this release, I understand this permission signifies that photographic or video recordings of me may be electronically displayed via the Internet or in the public educational setting on behalf of the College Prep Program and Children Within Our Borders. I understand that the zoom sessions will be recorded to ensure accountability, and that my image and voice will be held in videos on the CPP drive. I understand that my personal information such as name, age, email address and phone number may be stored there as well to track students’ academic progress and aid in the program’s organizational goals. By signing this release, I acknowledge that I have completely read and fully understand the above release and agree to be bound thereby. I hereby release any and all claims against any person or organization utilizing this material for educational and promotional purposes.

If accepted, volunteers will be required to pay for a third-party background check to ensure the children's safety (the cost will be $20, non-refundable). If cost is an issue, please contact us at cppalachua@chbob.org or education@chbob.org. Returning volunteers will not need to pay for the background check again.
