    Turtle Care & Education
  • Biosphere staff want to share the experience of caring for and releasing turtles!

Turtle Release Dates involve meeting at a drive-to release location outside of Parry Sound (site provided after registration). Please only sign up for this activity if you're able to hike through 100 meters of forest terrain. Allow 2-3 hours for this activity, suitable for kids over the age of 4.

Turtle Hatchery Tours allow people to discover the world of raising turtles for conservation. See how the eggs are incubated over the summer months, how we keep them safe and check for development. See the turtles swim and possibly even hatch! Allow 1 hour for this activity, suitable for all ages. (Meet outside the Biosphere office, 125 William St. Parry Sound. Please note that the Hatchery is down one flight of stairs).

Note: This year all events are offered by donation. Your support directly impacts our conservation and education programing. Thank you!
