ONE SONG GLORY 2022

ONE SONG GLORY is a fully subsidized four-weekend long, in-person, intensive musical theatre training program for youth, that builds community, self-confidence, and self-expression through a combination of new music creation, masterclasses, rehearsal, and performance presentations. Our goal is to offer participants between 13-19 years old, a professional rehearsal experience, insight about the industry, the chance to engage with new works, and the guidance to develop a fruitful career in the performing arts.
Please fill out the registration form below by Thursday, October 13th to participate in the audition workshop taking place in-person on: Saturday October 15th, 2022 between 11:30-4:30 pm.

An accompanist will be provided.

Please bring your own sheet music, prepared to sing 32 bars or 2 mins of your chosen musical theatre song! You can choose to use a track if you prefer!

For non-performing artists an interview wil be taking place:

between Oct 13th-Oct 14th between 4:30 - 7:00 pm.

For folks unable to attend the audition workshop, we are also accepting video submissions until 5pm on October 10th, 2022.

Workshop participants will be notified no later than Monday, October 17th of their participation in the program.

Once accepted into the One Song Glory program will take place in-person on:

Saturday October 22nd,

Saturday October 29th,

Saturday November 5th,

Saturday November 12th.

The final performances will be on Sunday November 13th.

*Students will need to be available all day for technical rehearsal and both performances.

PHOTOGRAPHY WAIVER: The participant and/or their parent/guardian authorizes The Musical Stage Company to photograph/film them any time they are in rehearsal, performance or during their training period at One Song Glory. They grant The Musical Stage Company the right to use, publish and display or permit the use, publication and display of audio-visual or digital recordings, all print media or other electronic images at their sole discretion in any publication, multimedia production, display or advertisement. The participant agrees The Musical Stage Company may use their name, likeness, or biographical information as supplied. The participant waives any right to inspect or approve the use of their photograph and name or of any written copy. The participant may revoke these permissions at any time through a written statement sent to Program Manager Patricia Cerra at onesongglory@musicalstagecompany.com

ACCIDENT & CLAIMS WAIVER: Accidents can occur due to the nature of the activity and can occur with or without any fault on either the part of the participant, or The Musical Stage Company, or its employees, or associates, or the facility where the activity is taking place. The participant agrees that they accept the risk of an accident occurring. The participant and/or their parent/guardian, waives any and all claims they may have against, and release from all liability and agree not to sue The Musical Stage Company and its officers, employees, agents, volunteers, and representatives for any personal injury, death, property damage or loss sustained as a result of their participation in One Song Glory, arising out of any cause whatsoever, including negligence.

ANTI-BULLYING: Everyone has the right to feel safe at home, at school and in the community. Bullying is classified as behavior that psychologically or physically hurts, manipulates, or isolates a person. Violence, threats of violence, and harassment of others will not be tolerated, including threats of violence or any harassment that occur using social media. Bullying is a form of harassment that is under no circumstances to be tolerated, condoned, or ignored. Any evidence of bullying will be investigated, and may result in removal from the program.
