Fellowship Opportunities
We have several opportunities for you to connect with women over shared interests and in similar stages of life.
Circles: Women in their 20s and 30s gather three-four times a year with older women who will share a gospel perspective on various life topics. Coordinated by Rebecca Lankford, Associate Director of Young Adult Ministry, and Leslie Housman.

Women at Work: Working women gather quarterly for support and encouragement, and to discuss issues they face and how their faith informs their responses to those issues.

The Middle: Women in "the middle" stages of life, raising older children and caring for aging parents, gather three times a year on Thursday evenings to gain a gospel perspective on the issues they face in this stage of life.

Wednesday Mornings: Acts, led by Melinda King & Carolyn Lankford at Cranmer House or Zoom
Wednesday Mornings: Prayers of the Bible, led by Jane Menendez at her home or Zoom
Wednesday Lunchtime: Women of the Advent and Park Place, facilitated by Brenda Anderson, Leslie Housman, and Jane Menendez in the Chapter Room
Wednesday Evenings: Luke, led by Debbie Brazeal at her home, twice a month
Wednesday Evenings (Young Adult Women): "Seamless" by Angie Smith, facilitated by Margaret Pope at Cranmer House
Thursday Mornings (Young Moms): Matthew, led by Leslie Housman in the Living Room (nursery available)
Thursday Mornings: Sermons of Tim Keller, facilitated by Rita Wright and Mary Berkeley Pritchard at Cranmer House
Friday Mornings: Deuteronomy and Joshua, led by Robin Anderson via Zoom
Advent House Prayer Ministry: You are warmly invited to come and request prayer for God's intervention, guidance, and healing of the sickness, sorrows, and concerns in your life. Abigail Guild: Organizes, hosts, and serves at various receptions through the program year. Named for Abigail, who wisely offered hospitality to the anointed but not yet crowned King David while he and his men were on the run from Saul (1 Samuel 25). This guild is coordinated by Staci Thompson and Debby Tanner.

St. Alice Guild: Meets four times a year for fellowship and prayer. This guild is coordinated by Margaret Aderholt.

St. Amelia's Guild: Women with school-aged children gather twice a year for gospel-centered teaching and discussion about issues relevant to this life stage.

St. Bridget's Guild: Began meeting over 50 years ago and continues to gather for fellowship three times a year. This guild is coordinated by Margie Colvin, Kitty Lineberry, and Ann Jones.

St. Catherine's Guild: Gathers for fellowship and to make casseroles, soups, and cookies for Pastoral Care needs. This guild is coordinated by LaVonda Keel and Gail Braswell.

St. Fiacre Garden Guild: Tends the Rector's Garden, Betty Turner Garden, and other areas of the church grounds. New members are always welcome. This guild is coordinated by Susan Elliott.

St. Dorothy Flower Guild: Named for the patron saint of florists, gardeners, and brides, this guild prepares weekly flower arrangements for Clingman Commons as well as special events. This guild is coordinated by Hallie Rawls.

St. Mary's Guild: Women with young children gather two evenings a year for fellowship and teaching on a topic relevant to their stage of life. This guild is coordinated by Mary Jane McAllister.

Serve During Our Events
During the year, we will need a few volunteers at each of our Women's Ministry events to fill various roles. Please see the list of events below and indicate in which areas, if any, you would like to serve. Don't worry, this form is only for showing interest and does not automatically obligate you for these events. The event coordinator will be in touch with you as the events approach to confirm your availability and share more details.
Pickleball Round Robin | Monday, September 26, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Homewood Rec Center
Come laugh and learn this fun sport! It is easy to pick up and all skill levels are welcome (especially beginners). Equipment, coaching, help, and grace provided. Coordinated by Kate Kiefer and Murray Priester.
