Wilson's Image College Scholarship was founded in May 2018 for African American scholars living in North Minneapolis. Minnesota, mainly Minneapolis is where the widest achievement gap in the country between black/brown scholars vs white scholars exists. To receive the scholarship, scholars need to write an essay detailing how they would use their degree to positively impact the social/economic ills of North Minneapolis.
