To schedule a Child Passenger Safety on School Buses National Training offering, please complete the form below. Once the training is approved, you will receive an email from safety@nsc.org with a hyperlink to the downloadable training resources. For hybrid offerings, once the training is approved, the group will be set up in the Child Passenger Safety Learning Portal with all Instructors listed below assigned to the group. Child Passenger Safety on School Buses National Training Curriculum Version
- CPST Version
  - Audience: Currently certified CPSTs
  - Length: 5 hours
  - CPST Continuing Education Units: 3.5
  - CPSTs earn the school bus endorsment.
- Pupil Transportation Version
  - Audience: Non-CPSTs and currently certified CPSTs
  - Length: 7.5 hours (Introductory foundational information on crash dynamics and car seat basics is included.)
  - CPST Continuing Education Units: 3.5
  - CPSTs earn the school bus endorsment.
Type of Delivery Format
- In-Person Delivery Format: All modules and activities are conducted during an in-session.
- Hybrid Delivery Format: Participants complete self-paced, online learning modules prior to an in-person session. Activities are conducted during the in-person session.

All Instructors on the teaching team must be currently certified child passenger safety technicians with the school bus endorsement*.

*To have the school bus endorsement, a child passenger safety technician must have completed the school bus national training since September 1, 2015. As applicable, the school bus endorsement is listed in the Safe Kids Certification profile under attributes.
