Individual Coaching Supervision Agreement
Welcome, I am delighted to be your coaching supervisor and I am looking forward to our work together. On a business note, these are my policies, procedures & guidelines for our work together. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding these or anything you would like to add.
Agreement
We will meet for 45-60 minutes by zoom at a time mutually agreed by both. Fees for this session will be 600 for 5 sessions, payable per our agreement.
Integrity
If I ever say or do something that upsets you or makes you feel uncomfortable or you would like to make changes to our way of working, please bring it to my attention. In order for our work to be transformative you must be honest with me, do not be afraid of upsetting me. I would prefer that we clear it up straight away so that our relationship can be a safe place where you feel fully supported and can be yourself, without fear of judgement. There is always a learning opportunity in every exchange of feedback.
Confidentiality
As your supervisor, I recognize that you may have future plans, business affairs, customer lists, financial information, job information, personal information and other information that you consider is confidential. I will not, either directly or indirectly use any such information or disclose it to anyone else without direct permission from you the client, except under the following circumstances:
- There is a life-threatening situation
- I become aware of the abuse of a minor
- Terrorism
- If required to by law
- When working with my supervisor at which time I would only use your first name and any confidential information would remain anonymous. On occasion I may need to tape record a supervision session for my own accreditation, in which case I will agree this with you in advance.
- When training other supervisors and coaches I sometimes use examples of my client work to illustrate points. These references will be anonymous with significant details changed but if you would rather I didn’t use examples from our work, please let me know.
Cancellation
All sessions are to be completed within the specified agreement period. Any not undertaken by the client will be forfeited unless alternative arrangements with all parties have been mutually agreed.
Non-attendance: client will forfeit the session and associated fees.
Request by client to re-arrange a scheduled session: please give 48 hours notice. If the session is for Monday, please let me know by Thursday. If it is less than 48 hours and the session can be re-arranged, this will be accommodated. If not, the original session will remain as is and the client will forfeit the session and associated fees.
Roles and Responsibilities
As your coaching supervisor I will take responsibility for:
- Time keeping
- Giving and receiving feedback
- Monitoring our relationship
- Creating a safe place
- Monitoring ethical issues
- Suggesting texts, books, web sites, courses, other institutions and professionals if appropriate; these services are offered without liability, obligation or redress to my business or myself
Sharing with you as appropriate all the resources at my disposal, my knowledge, my skills, my experience and my expertise.
As supervisee you will be responsible for:
- Preparing for our sessions
- Presenting your work and relevant issues
- Your learning (objectives); applying the learning
- Feedback to self and supervisor
- Keeping notes of sessions
Evaluation and Review
We will review our work together periodically and re-negotiate session times, frequency, duration and fees depending on your current client commitments at that time.
Re-negotiation of contract
At any time either party can initiate discussion around re-negotiation of the contract or any part of it. This will be done in advance so that there is preparation time available.
I am a member of the ICF and the Association of Coaching Supervisors and abide by their code of ethics.
