Welcome to the beginning of a wonderful journey to become the Miss Georgetown Fair Queen! 

Queen Brylie and the Georgetown Fair Pageant Directors are so glad you are here!

During the month of June, our contestants will be given valuable information including interview skills, public speaking, poise, as well as meeting prominate members of Vermilion County as guest speakers, and learning first hand about Agriculture volunteerism in Vermilion County. To make this all happen, we have weekly practices with each one specifically geared toward one of the components listed. Through the pageants association with our AMBUCS, the contestants will participate in the AMBUCS Richard Woodard Challlenge Baseball games as a "Buddy" for our AMBUCS kids!  On June 24, Queen Brylie will be SUPERGIRL with our contestants her sidekicks at the Superhero Academy sponsored by the Georgetown Fair Pageant.   These two events are great ways for the contestants to interact with kids and adults!  As it gets closer to the pageant, the Georgetown Fair Board has their Fair Family Dinner and Ice Cream Social, also Horse Show Events for the Contestants to get to know their Georgetown Fair!  

We encourage you to become a Contestant by completing the application below.  After you press SUBMIT, the application will go straight to Karen Thornsbrough, Director, and you will be put on the list as a guest at the Informational Meeting on JUNE 10, 2023 at 2 p.m. in the Georgetown Fair Banquet Center. This meeting will give you and your Parent/Guardian all the information needed to enter the Georgetown Fair Pageant.  

Please do not miss this once in a lifetime opportunity!  One important item you will receive by becoming the Miss Georgetown Fair Queen or one of the Court is a Cash SCHOLARSHIP!  The Queen receives a $2000 Cash Scholarship plus up to a $1500 Clothing Allowance provided by our Georgetown Forever Queens!  The Court receives: 1st - $650, 2nd - $550, 3rd - $450, 4th - $350.  The Georgetown Fair Pageant is one of the few Fair Pageants in the state of Illinois that provides scholarships to the Runners Up!
