  • The Hair Extensions Quiz

Find out which type are right for you.
  • Format: (000) 000-0000.
  • Hand Tied Wefts. Based on your answers your suggested hair extensions are Hand Tied wefts. They are perfect for fine hair on their own but they also make a great combination with other types of hair extensions.

Hand Tied wefts are hair extensions that are produced by manually tying hair to the extension seam and knotting it in place by hand. This method creates a very strong, but much thinner weft in comparison to machine weft hair extensions. Hand Tied wefts blend perfectly with fine hair.

  • K-Tips. Based on your answers your suggested hair extensions are K-tip / U-Tip Keratin Fusion hair extensions.

Keratin Tips (K-Tips) are pre-tipped pieced (dipped in a protein wax) hair that are used to extend the length of the hair. This method includes bonding the natural hair with the extensions by using a heated tool to activate the Keratin based glue. We recommended this technique for clients who want to add length as well as color to their natural hair or blend hair extensions to their previously colored hair.

  • I-Tips. Based on your answers, your suggested hair extensions are I-Tips.

I-Tip hair extensions are commonly installed with "microlinks" or "beads". I-Tips are applied using microlinks/beads, and a thin portion of the clients natural hair are squeezed together, in order to secure the extensions. This technique does not include bonding, glue, wax or any other type of product and will not harm the clients natural hair follicles. Micro-links are recommended to add length and fullness to normal/averaged textured hair.

  • Volume Wefts. Based on your answers your suggested hair extensions are machine weft hair extensions.

  • Tape-Ins. Based on your answers your suggested hair extensions are Tape-In hair extensions. They are perfect for fine to normal/average textured hair on their own but they also make a great combination with other types of hair extensions. Tape-ins are known for having the fastest installation however they are also known for having a high price point and for being very high maintenance.
