By signing below, I, the signer, confirm that I am at least 18 years old, agree to abide by the rules of the I'm With the Band competition, and consent to a background check. In the event that I break any of the aforementioned rules, I will be asked to leave the competition by the organizers. I agree NOT to hold the Burn Foundation of America liable for any damages which may occur during the audition process or at the audition site.

I’m With the Band 2023 Auditions Rules & Guidelines

Thank you for auditioning for I’m With the Band 2023! Your $25 audition donation will go to support burn patients and their families in the CSRA by providing free meals, lodging, transportation, prescriptions, and other things necessary to the healing process – all free of charge to the patients and families. Please read the entirety of this page before proceeding with the registration process.

 

Contestant Rules

1. Each contestant must be at least 18 years old.
2. All performances must be acapella. Easy-to-transport instruments such as acoustic guitars may be permitted.
3. Finalists must attend all rehearsals leading up to the I'm With the Band live show, any contestant meetings, a dress rehearsal on December 14, 2023, and the I'm With the Band live show on December 16, 2023.
4. Finalists will be required to take promotional pictures and video.
5. Finalists must consent to a background check.
6. Only solo acts are allowed. No duets or groups will be allowed to audition together.
7. Please wear your provided audition number at all times during auditions.
8. Be courteous towards other contestants. Keep noise to a minimum while entering and exiting the auditorium, and remain quiet while others are auditioning. Phones and other devices must be silenced.

 

Instructions for Auditions

1. At the audition, you will be given a numbered nametag. Display your nametag securely in a visible place.
2. If you have not uploaded a photo with your pre-registration, you will then proceed to the picture-taking station, where someone will take a photo to go along with your application.
3. Your number will then be called when it is your turn to audition. At that time, please go up to the stage. You will have approximately one minute to perform acapella for the judges.
4. After your performance is done, you may stay and watch following performances, or you are free to go. If staying in the auditorium, please keep your nametag on.
5. Finalists will be notified on or before August 31, 2023.
