  • ONE BODY WITH MANY MEMBERS (1 Cor 12:1-13)

    7 To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.

    1) Who is included?   
    2) How do you know?      
    3) Why are the gifts given?      
    4) How are the gifts given?         

  • Thoughts:

    1Cor12:7: "Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it."

     Look around, everyone is gifted and everyone is important to the mission of the church.


    1 Cor 14:12: "So with yourselves, since you are eager for manifestations of the Spirit, strive to excel in building up the church."


    1Cor 14:26: "What then, brothers? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up."
