Thank you for your interest in the RI Canoe & Kayak Association (RICKA). Membership entitles you to the benefits of RICKA that include: Scheduled paddles, informative meetings, training sessions, discounts at local vendors, picnics and gatherings, newsletters, our online classifieds, and more! Your membership is inclusive to all four RICKA divisions: Flat Water, White Water, Sea Kayaking, and Wilderness.

Annual Dues are $15 for RICKA membership or $25 for a combined RICKA and Blackstone Valley Paddle Club (BVPC) membership. Additional household members are included free of charge. If you are a current RICKA member, you may add the BVPC to your membership with a $10 add-on. The membership year is from April 1st to March 31st of the following year.

RICKA is a club member of the American Canoe Association.

Any paddle sport is an assumed risk sport. Some aspects of canoeing and kayaking involve the risk of serious injury or death. The Rhode Island Canoe & Kayak Association, although safety conscious, cannot guarantee your personal safety in club activities.

The Rhode Island Canoe & Kayak Association, Inc. is a 501(c)(7) not for profit corporation. The Blackstone Valley Paddle Club is also a 501(c)(7) and is a joint project between RICKA and the US Park Service.
