    CODE OF CONDUCT

''While at school, students should not allow thier minds to become confused by thoughts of courtship. They are to gain a fitness to work for God, and this thought is ever to be uppermost. Let all students take as broad a view as possible of thier obligation to God. Let them study earnestly how they can do practical work for the master during their student life. Let them refuse to burden the souls of their teachers by showing a spirit of levity and a careless disregard of rules.'' CT100.2

From the above quote we can see council that courting will not be permitted during the school AND our formost though should be on the work of God.

    DRESS CODE

"By the things of nature Christ illustrates the beauty that Heaven values,-the modest grace, the simplicity, the purity, the appropriateness, that make our attire pleasing to Him."  CG 413.3

"Our clothing, while modest and simple, should be of good quality, of becoming colors, and suited for service. It should be chosen for durability rather than display. It should provide warmth and proper protection." CG 420.3

Please ensure to pack appropriate attire as there will be gardening and hands on physical workgiving you an experience of country living (work clothes).

Dress code for women is modest clothing ie. long skirts/dresses;no revealing clothing and no pants. You can wear leggings under your skirts/dresses for gardening or if you feel more comfortable.

Dress code for men is working clothes and no form fitting or shorts. A pair of working overalls is recommended.

PLEASE BRING A PAIR OF GUM-BOOTS and an extra blanket can be brought as we do exprience chilly weather in the early mornings and evenings.

    TIME

"Our time belongs to God. Every moment is His, and we are undr the most solemn obligation to improve it to His glory. Of no talent He has given will He require a more strict account than of our time. The value of time is beyond computation. Christ regarded every moment as precious, and it is thus that we should regard it. Life is too short to be trifled away. We have but a few days of probation in which to prepare for eternity. We have no time to waste, no time to devote to selfish pleasure, no time for the indulgence of sin." COL 342

The IMPORTANCE of time is shown in the above quotation. Evening and morning group devotions are extremely important and we are to be on time for them daily. Classes are to be attented on time!

    CLEANLINESS

"One of the most prolific sources of disease is the transgression of the laws of life in regard to personal habits. Order and cleanliness are laws of heaven. The directions given to Moses when the Lord was about. to declare His Law upon Mount Sinai, were very strict in this repect."And the Lord said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes."[Exodus 19:10] They were directed to do this lest there should be impurity about them as they should come before Him. He is a God of order, and he requires order and cleanliness in His people." CTBH 105.1

We have all heard the saying "cleanliness is next to godliness" and from the above quote we can see how true that saying really is. You are responsible for keeping your area neat and tidy at all times. Your bed should be made before group devotion and clothing(whether dirty or clean) and personal belongings kept neatly together at all times. There will be days for laundry during the week. The upkeeping of the dorm will be the responsibility of the students.
