- The First Holy Communion Programme consists of weekly sessions which are held during school term time.
- There will be three separate sessions for parents to be held during the Autumn term on the 4th, 11th and 18th October at 7:30pm in the Church Hall . Please note down these dates in your Calendar as attendance is required at each session.
- The Programme will begin in October 2022 and run through to April 2023.
- The dates and timings of the sessions for parents, classes for Candidates, First Confessions and First Holy Communion Masses will be communicated to all parents in September.
Attendance and Absence Policy:
- Each Candidate is expected to arrive on time for each session.
- The First Holy Communion Programme at Corpus Christi Catholic Church takes precedence over all other social, sporting and extra-curriculur activities .
- Parents are expected to attend all of the sessions for parents.
- Candidates are expected to attend every session, make their First Confession on the appointed day and time and attend their First Holy Communion Mass on the advertised dates. If a Candidate fails to attend two or more sessions then they will not be permitted to make their First Holy Communion.
- If a Candidate is ill or there is a very serious reason why a Candidate cannot be present permission must be sought in writing - via an email to the Parish Office - in advance of the event itself.
- If - after submitting this form and receiving the programme schedule - it is discovered that it will not be possible for a Candidate to complete the programme, a refund can be issued by the Parish Office. The Candidate can be enrolled on the following year's programme.

- It is not possible to apply for First Holy Communion for your child unless you are in possession of a copy of their Catholic Baptism Certificate.
- When you have obtained a copy then you will be able to upload it as part of this application process.
- No other certificate is acceptable; e.g. Marriage Certificate, and a photograph of your child's Baptism is also unacceptable.
- Please obtain a copy of the relevant certificate and then return to this webpage to complete the application form.
- Please note: if you are seeking a copy of your child's Baptism Certificate from the parish of Corpus Christi there is a £10 administration fee.
