  • WORKSHOP OVERVIEW 


    Big Imaginations LLC Young Entrepreneurs Mentor Program is currently hosting workshops for teens to use creative thinking and develop an entrepreneurial mindset. Teens will receive assistance with setting smart goals, earning money, and making business connections. 


    Workshops are held every third Saturday of the month from 10:30 pm – 1:30 pm. 

     

     

     ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENT 

     

    In order for your child(ren) to become a member of Big Imaginations YEMP they must meet the following: 


    1. Be between the ages of 13 and 17 

    2. Enthusiastic and energetic personality 

    3. Ability to communicate in a professional manner 

    4. Ability to build rapport 

    5. Must be able to work independently 


    We must have the following submitted for enrollment: 


    1. A Completed Enrollment application 

    2. Copy of child’s Asthma Action Plan and/or Allergy Action Plan if they have one 

    Parents or guardians must inform Big Imaginations volunteer staff upon registration if their child is on any medication or under a doctor’s care. 

     

    MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES 


    1. Participate in the learning process 

    2. Attend workshops and other meetings

    3. Participate in events and fundraisers 

    4. Create content for social media and Website 

    5. Volunteer with Big Imaginations LLC Kid Party Planning, Entertainment, & Party      Rentals 

    6. Maintain a monthly ledger of the YEMP account funds

                                                 YEMP ACCOUNT

    Please contribute $80 to your YEMP account at the time of enrollment. Parents be sure to check the ledger monthly for any funds spent. 

     


    AWARDS CEREMONY 


    We will have a fundraiser to raise money for our graduation that will be held December/January. Dates to be announced. 

    We ask that all members participate in the ceremony and fundrasier. If for any reason your child is not able to participate in the fundraiser we ask that parents donate $50.00. 

    All workshops and ceremony fees must be paid in full before a member can participate in the Awards Ceremony. 

     

    FUNDRAISING 


    We will sell popcorn from Popcorn Palace, Pretty Pop, or another approved vendor, to raise money for the Awards Ceremony. We require everyone to participate in the fundraiser so that we may purchase all items needed below. 


    Money will be used on the following: 


    - Shirts made for all members

    - Tables and/or tents needed 

    - Drinks and snacks for members 

    - Decorations 

    - Promotional products (Flyers, Ads, etc) 

    - Flyers for members to hand out 

    - DJ

    - Performances

    - etc


    Big Imaginations LLC and its mentors would like to thank our parents for partnering with us to bring your child’s visions to life.

  • The following agreement is made between  (Program Name) and   *   * (Student Name ). We are voluntarily entering into this mentoring relationship which we both want to be a productive and rewarding experience.

  • To minimize the possibility of any confusion, we have agreed to the following: 

     

    Expectations. It is expected that students will be respectable. 

    - No cursing. 

    - No negative gestures or inappropriate comments towards others in the program ( ex. flicking others off, cracking jokes) touching inappropriately (ex. hitting, pushing). 

    - No roaming into private rooms or out of the sanctuary unless authorized. 

    - No playing on the church instruments, stereo, pulpit, or other devices and/or materials shall be handled without authorization. 

    - No overtalking the person that is given the opportunity to share, as well as the instructor, and other mentors assisting within the workshop. 


    Scheduled Meeting Times. Meeting times are set to run every third Saturday of the month between 12:30 pm -3:30 pm, If the time or date happens to change you will be notified. It is the student's responsibility to show up to the workshop on time with a creative mindset, ready to produce. Workshops that are canceled will be rescheduled. If for any reason the student no longer wants to be a part of the workshops, they may discontinue coming but must notify the instructor.


    I agree to follow all rules outlined by the program written and verbally.
