Example: The governor signed an executive order mandating that all restaurants be fully closed for a period of two weeks beginning March 20th of 2020, and then mandated that all restaurants limit their capacity to 50% after that until the mandate was lifted on May 15th of 2021.
In this case, subject to some additional considerations, a restaurant with qualified employees in that state could qualify for ERC tax credits from March 20, 2020 through May 15, 2021.
