The apprenticeship is a 12-14 week program. It's on Tuesdays 8am - 7pm and Wednesdays 9am - 7pm. Days are set but hour are subject to slight change. With the 21 hours in the salon there's also a minimum requirement of 6 hours a week of homework a week in order to finish the program in time.
A start up kit is provided. There also a few things you do need to provide yourself. Such as a nail lamp, e-file, and drill bits. State licensing fees and test fees are not covered in the course tuition. The course cost is $6500 with a $500 non-refundable deposit paid when the contract is signed. The $500 goes towards $6500. The remaining $6000 can be paid in full or with a payment plan. Payments are accepted in cash only.
The course will teach everything you need to know. Basic manicures, gel manicures, acrylics, hard gel, pedicures, nail art, cuticle work, sanitation, taxes, how to work in a salon, as well as prepare you for the 2 required state tests.
After you submit an application, I will reach for an interview. If we move forward we will sign the contract and decide on the start date. After you start and finish the course, complete the state tests and all other requirements then you apply for your nail technician license.
