Program Objective:To bridge the gap between community service and academic studies connecting knowledge and skills to direct experiences introducing participants to populations and causes that provoke thought, curiosity, and care toward subject matters impacting local and global communities.
Eligibility
Age Range: 15–21 years old
Must be enrolled in high school, college, or a vocational training program (or recently graduated)
Commitment: Able to commit to the full duration of the program schedule (academic semester, summer, or designated term)
Participant Requirements
Service Hours
Minimum of 25 hours of service-learning during the program cycle.
Service must be tied to a documented project, placement, or approved community activity.
Academic/Reflection Component
Completion of weekly reflections (journals, discussion groups, or digital entries) connecting service experiences with academic or career goals.
Participation in workshops/trainings on social issues, leadership, and professional development.
Community Engagement
Willingness to work with diverse populations, including vulnerable or underserved groups.
Participation in at least one community showcase/presentation where students highlight their project impact.
