  • Description

Sean will be taking participants on a journey of expressive drawing using the traditional atelier method dating back to the old masters. In this course we will cover principals of proportion, line and gesture, and tone. Over the weekend we will explore these methods working from still life compositions that will give you a better understanding of how to approach and construct your work. There will also be demonstrations given to illustrate these topics.

We will be working with charcoal on paper which will give the opportunity for everyone to express their individual character.

    What participants should bring:

    Willow charcoal sticks

    Rubber

There will be some paper, charcoal and rubbers for sale.
