    2022 | ONSITE & VIRTUAL PROGRAMS AT OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS

  •  PROGRAM SCHEDULE  |  September - October

    SESSION THEME | 'Beauty' 

    As the leaves begin to change, we enter on the newest theme: "Beauty". This semester's theme will be beauty, from self-care to self- love,beauty will encapsulate all things we find beautiful about the world and ourselves.

    ON-SITE PROGRAMS 09/12/2022 - 10/28/2022 (7 weeks)

    3 hours per session  |  2 sessions per day  |  4 days per week

    TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS, & FRIDAYS

    AM SESSION  |  9:00 am - 12:00 pm

    PM SESSION  |  3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

    WEDNESDAYS

    FULL DAY SESSION | 9:00 am - 2:30 pm

    PM SESSION | 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

    Wednesday's full-day option requires a full-day commitment from eligible Warriors from 9:00 AM-2:30 PM without flexibility at this time. If a Warrior registers for the "Full Day session" and the "PM session" they will be permitted to stay on-site until the 3:00 PM start time of the "PM Session". Lunch is included with the full-day option. Please note that participant space for the "Full Day" option is limited and your registration is a "request to register". If your Warrior is eligible to participate in the "full-day option" you will receive a confirmation by email. Any registrations received for the "full-day option" after the registration window has closed will not be eligible for registration. Additionally, the "full-day option" will only be available for Wednesday at this time. The length of the full-day registration will follow the same guidelines as the other days and will be for a period of 7 weeks. Entry into Fall session #1 full-day option will not guarantee registration for future sessions at this time.     IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT ONSITE SESSION TRANSITIONS

    There will be a daily transition period from 12:00 pm-3:00 pm during the on-site program days. All Warriors will be required to leave the program sites between sessions. Warriors can register for an AM and PM session on the same day, but they will need to go home between the hours of 12:00 PM- 3:00 PM 

    During the transition period, OK Staff will clean and disinfect program space according to our Cleaning & Disinfecting Plan. Staff will also then make preparations for the next group coming to their designated location.

  • GENERAL GUIDELINES

    • The registration process will accept requests for all sessions
    • Warriors will have three separate 45-minute activities within their group at the same location

    PROGRAM COST STRUCTURE

    The cost structure breakdown is based on a 7-week session. Financial assistance is available for Warriors & Families that qualify. We are implementing a new assistance scale that we will keep with us going forward. It is our goal to overcome financial barriers so that this program and all OK programs are accessible.     ONSITE PROGRAMS - SINGLE SESSION COST BREAKDOWN

    • 3 hours per  1 Day  @ $15 per hour = $45 per session
    • 7-week cost @ $45 per session = $315

    VIRTUAL PROGRAMS- SINGLE SESSION COST BREAKDOWN

    • 1 hour per  Zoom Meeting  @ rate of $10 per hour
    • 7-week cost @ $10 per Zoom Meeting = $70

     REGISTRATION PROCESS

    • Registration will open on Friday, July 29th at 3:00 PM

    • Registration will close on Friday, August 5th at 5:00 PM

    • The final registration plan will be communicated after Friday, September 2nd

    INTAKE PROCESS

    The intake process will include a few more documents, waivers, and consent forms than usual. We are taking extra precautions to ensure we are covering all of our bases. We ask for your patience and cooperation in this process.
