  • Tenant Participation

  • We’re committed to involving tenants and residents in what we do and how we deliver our services. By ‘involved’ we mean being able to influence decisions about the services you receive, and other issues affecting you, your home and the area where you live. Tenant involvement helps us make the right decisions, and enables us to identify and make any necessary changes and improvements to what we do or the way we do it. Osprey is committed to working with tenants to enable them to take part in, and influence, the decision making process on issues which affect them, their homes and the environment in which they live.

  • Ways to get involved.

There are many different ways you can get involved including:

Joining The Osprey Tenants and Residents Association (OTRA). The group meets on a regular basis in person/online (whatever works for you). The Group is consulted on policy matters to provide tenant feedback.

Joining the OTRA Facebook Page - The page is set up to allow tenants to participate and provide feedback on polls and surveys. Ideal for someone who does not have the time to attend meetings but still wants to give thier opinions.

Participation in your Local Rate My Estate Projects or becoming an estate champion. The housing officers regularly carry out projects to assess the condition of our streets and areas.  Getting involved in this or becoming an estate champion would mean that you would work along side the Housing and Asset Officer to make improvements to the area you live in

Participate in OTRA Scrutiny Projects. The group has undertaken Scrutiny Projects which assess the work in which Osprey are doing independently. Each project has a short life span and the report at the end is put to the Management team and OH Housing Committee to make suggestions for real and meaningful improvement to service provision.

Please select which options below that you would be interested in getting involved in, or suggest other forms of Tenant Participation  you feel would be of benefit.
